Im a happy happy girl. Despite the back injury.

Because today is 25th and it's payday! Wooo, now I got moolah to buy things for the house! Plus my brother transfered some money to me before leaving for London this morning! Yay.

Im moving house tomorrow!

My room is in a mess, but heck. Im going to The Link Designer Show later. There's also the POIS cocktail party at IndoChine tonight but I think Im going to give it a miss. Im anti-social da. And I have nothing to wear.

Next Wednesday is the Gucci show but I doubt I can make it. I have another costume fitting for the MSU girls. Hur hur. The only consolation is that even the designers and boss will not be able to make it. lol

I'll just stare at all the invites and whine.

Im pulling my hair out. Argh so busy with the costume fitting yesterday! The MSU girls are going to parade in gowns designed by LaSalle SIA students next Saturday and we had such a difficult time fitting the girls, finding the perfect gown for each girl. It's hard to pick something to flatter them, especially when the gowns were tailored according to ang moh models size!

For now, Im just taking note of where to alter. We can only alter it on the day itself, after the girls wore the gown so that it will cling on to their body perfectly. Sigh, so troublesome! Lucky I have part time dressers on the day to help me with the girls. And I only have to deal with special guests and hosts. Phew.

Yeah yesterday was crazy. I even sprained my back. It hurts badly!

Last week, it was Utt. This week, it's Wang Lee Hom.

All my colleagues are going ga-ga over Lee Hom. He was in Mediacorp on Friday and Saturday for the High On Life anti-drug concert. I saw my young designer jumping around telling everyone excitedly on their lift encounter and that Lee Hom complimented on her gorgeous hairdo.

I didnt take picture with him. Give me Jay Chou or David Tao instead! Heh.

On a happier note, Im having a long weekend next week! Yay! Off on Fri, Sat and Sunday! I know it's nothing for others, but hey it's a miracle for people in this industry! I NEVER get off on public holidays.
There's a price to pay though. It means working even more than 12 hours on weekdays...

Totally drained. Had been working for 12 hours everyday! It's so hard to cope with variety shows, docu-drama and big show all at the same time. I seriously think my supervisor does not know how to arrange assignments. Ha, Im dying soon.

Btw babes, Im shifting house next week (finally!). I wont be having Internet connection until my bro join me a month later. So, no updates, no photos.

Argh, so many things to do! So little time! I have to pack my stuff, buy furniture, decorate my place, do research for my docu-drama which based on true stories of missing people in the 1970s and 1980s (sourcing for clothes for everone is a big headache), prepare for Ms Singapore/Universe finals (think costume fittings, rehearsal and outdoor filming) and still take care of my other variety shows.

I wish I have 48 hours a day.

We played a prank on Sh.aron. A.u today.

Our dear Sh.aron likes to park her BMW at the NO PARKING lot outside our wardrobe building. So today, my boss L used a big marker and wrote, "Dont think that you're a star so you can anyhow park hor!" on a piece on paper. And I sticked it on her windscreen. Hahaahaha

Everyone who walked past laughed. Later I heard that she rushed back from studio to check out her car because someone told her security gave a warning.

We need to de-stress sometimes *wink*

I had a FAB time in Thailand! I love the people and the food! We had buffet for breakfasts and dinners! All the contestants didnt eat much in order to look good on TV but we (production crew) dont give a damn. lol.

Ok, I dont really have time to write much here because I've been very busy ever since I came back few days ago. I still havent unpack all their clothes! Wat to do, I've got 8 programmes to take care of...

Looking forward to the semifinal and finals! Remember to tune in to the Prelude this Saturday, 9pm.

Had a first preview of this year's Ms Singapore Universe semi-finalists yesterday when I went to take their full measurements. Full measurements include the bustline, bust to bust, hip, crotch, neckline, armholes, shoulder to bust and etc.

And so we started looking out for the friendly, bitchy, busty and ugly ones. Haha.

We didnt notice any super gorgeous or outstanding girls though. They all look, hmm, normal. Girl next door.

But anyway, we cant really judge. After all, Taufik and Sly used to look Ah Beng and plain too~

Yeape, Ms Singapore Universe this year is my latest assignment.

Where should I go for holiday? I am doing this new travel show for JetStar Asia- which means I can tag along!! They dont need me to go for work, but I know the production people and I can tag along for leisure. Keke. Free air tickets are subject to availability though. Bleah

They are going Pattaya tomorrow. Taipei is end of Jan. HK is in Feb and Shanghai in March.

I am thinking of Taipei and Shanghai. Really want to try all the food there! Dont think I want to go to HK with them because I rather go in July- during the great sale period.

I wanted to go Taipei because actress/host Mic.helle Li.ow said the it'll be very 'shiok' to eat their spicy steamboat and dessert during winter period. And my colleague wants to go Shanghai (We cant take leave together). So the arrangement is for us to go separately. FONT>

Hmm, I shall see. My parents prefer me to travel after CNY because it'll be kinda hectic (Im going back Msia for CNY too). And my supervisor is not happy with me applying leave. Sianz. But of course, another bad point of going Taipei is that the guest artistes are Br.yan Wo.ng and Qu.an Yi.fe.ng

And oh Im so happy with my purchases today! I bought a turquoise floral tank top, a pair of cropped jeans with attached shoulder straps, a huge stripe bag and a red coral necklace. The red coral necklace is supposed to bring luck! I think Im getting the turquoise stone necklace soon- if Im not mistaken, it signifies happiness? Aiya I forgot what the designer told me! I wanted to ask which necklace is for love...but I was shy. Haha

Happy New Year!

Yesterday was no fun at all. The weather was very bad. It was pouring and pouring but people still came to the Countdown. I would have stayed at home if not because of work.

Spent the last 10 seconds of 2004 by waiting backstage to help Tau.fik to change.

I just hope 2005 will be a much better year. Havent got around to making resolutions though!

I thank God that my parents and my loved ones in Malaysia are safe. I was so worried and frightened when my mum called the other day, way before the news broke.

From what I heard, the situation is really bad. Especially some of the small islands near my home.

And my mum is so worried when I said I'll be based in Sentosa on Thursday and Friday. -_-

Im not sure whether to cry or to laugh.

Yesterday I volunteered to help with the Renci Charity Show in January because Korean star Won Bin is making a guest appearance.

BAD MOVE.

Because today when I saw my new roster, I realised my supervisor put me under Countdown@Sentosa too!

Fuck! Which means I practically have one big show for every week! FOUR events for this month? SI Grand Final, Star Awards, Heart Charity this Sunday and Countdown next week?? Argh.

Should I be happy that I can go to the Countdown for free and celebrate it with my favourite colleagues? Or should I be sad that Im working so hard? Anyway, I'll see you guys at Sentosa for the nation's biggest countdown party.

I received my first Xmas present yesterday! It's a green toolbox thingy with cow prints. Too cute for me actually. But it's from one of the costume designer and she said I can use it for Xmas~ (Coz I need to work this Xmas! There's this Heart Charity show on 26th and before that we need to have rehearsal and costume fitting. Sigh)

You see, when we go for outside engagements, we need to wear a pouch- to keep needles, scissors, different colour of threads, safety pins, tape etc for emergency altering. But I dont have my own pouch yet coz I want a really nice one. I am still looking.

The toolbox is really too cute for me. Am thinking of spraying it black. But it doesnt seem nice right? Since it's a gift? Sigh

I also saw Wilber Pan (his manager said we cant take photos. chey!), 5566 (very ah beng), Matilda Tao (so cute!), Vicky Zhao Wei (unfriendly) and lots and lots of the fashion and beauty industry people. I think Dav.id G.an has the cutest bunch of hairstylists!

I wonder if anyone caught me and </a></a>candymachine on TV before the SI Grand Final? Lol

Because just before the full dress rehearsal on Tuesday, DJ and host Dan.iel Ong came in to the wardrobe backstage to film a trailer! In the trailer, he talked to us, checking out the clothes for Taufi.k and S.ly and asked who are we rooting for. Both </a></a>candymachine and I prefer Ta.u.fik (although S.ly is just as nice and cute) but Da.niel said we can't root for the same finalist (for the trailer).

So, </a></a>candymachine managed to declare her love to Ta.ufik on TV and me, have to act as a Sl.y's fan. Sigh. So embarrassing!! Da.niel even asked me to do Sl.y's signature gesture and winked.

You should see how star-strucked </a></a>candmachine is at the SI!! She was practically tripping over while running towards Ta.ufik at the backstage. Even Tauf.ik was shocked! Haha.

Oh oh I was on Malay News also! Keke. The cameraman shot me while I was taking Be.verly's body measurements.

Came to know that Tau.fik cant afford Converse shoes and I feel really bad about it. I mean, I splurge my money without blinking most of the time and now this first Spo.re I.dol cant even afford a pair of Converse shoes? He asked if he could keep the sponsored shoes but my colleague said no. So I told my designer about it and she called up the Converse manager immediately. They are now giving him the special edition Converse!

Yeah I really adore Ta.ufik! He's such a darling to us. =)

Jay Chou IS THE BEST!!
I went to the Jay Chou concert and it was a superb performance! I lurve how he played the piano and moved (although not much). He looked so cool! Awww...When he appeared with the white piano, I thought I saw my prince charming! Lol

And I think the surprise performance by Landy really made all the guys' jaws dropped! Including me. Damn she was so HOT. And shake so well. She first appeared in a blue revealing gown before stripping it on stage to a skimpy bling bling outfit.

It was certainly a very enjoyable concert, especially I got the ticket for FREE. Hahahah. And I got a call from a friend immediately after the concert asking me if I want to go to the concert today! But sorry, I dont think I will go again. I made plans for today and I shall stick to it and catch up with S. =)

Anyway he can always ask another girl....

I am so inspired with the dancers at the concert and other MediaCorp gigs recently that I feel like taking up dancing!!
